YOUR SURVEY IS BOOKED!
Let’s face it… Moving home is a BIG DEAL…
It’s the third most stressful thing you can go through in life behind death and divorce. Just think about that for a second.
And I’m not trying to scare you here but I do want to emphasise that we must treat moving home with all due respect.
Because there’s tons of work involved – quite literally.
Don’t panic by the way, you got this!
We’re here to support you every step of the way. I mean we’re literally offering to carry all of your possessions over the finish line and into your new home for you.
You know, we’re here to get you where you want to be, and we’ll guide you through a 4 x stage moving process that looks like this.
Stage 1 – Book a survey
Stage 2 – Allow us to make a plan
Stage 3 – Let’s execute the plan together
Stage 4 – Enjoy your new home
Stage 4 is the goal here right?
You just need us to help you reach the point where you can enjoy your new home.
But let’s back up a sec and see where we are…
I’m pleased to say that your survey is booked, so Stage 1 is complete.
You’re now into Stage 2 – Allow us to make a plan.
Now, the survey is key to the plan because it’s the foundation of a pleasant moving experience.
And we’ll need your help with this by asking us lots of questions on the survey, and then we’ll need you to show our surveyor around each room of your home to point out what items you would like us to move – and yes, we will want to look in the loft, shed and the garage.
Our surveyor will list the furniture and the boxes needed for the small items on an iPad as you go around – so I apologise now if they’re looking down at the screen a lot during this stage, but don’t worry, they’re not ignoring you, they’re just focused on making sure the information is accurate so we can give you a great service.
I should point out here – and I tell my surveyors this too by the way – if the results of the survey are inaccurate, we’re no further forward and everyone’s time has been wasted.
Now I know you might be thinking of selling some items before you move, but I encourage you to make those decisions now and before the survey so you know what items you want us to move, and what items you do not want us to move, and then you can clearly point them out to our surveyor so we have an accurate volume.
We’ve learned through our 20 plus years experience that when things change after we’ve done the survey, we kinda end up out of sync with the move, and we become unsure of what now needs to be done, how many movers to send, if the original schedule is still valid and it just causes unnecessary stress for all involved.
The reason we want accurate survey results is…
So we can send you a fixed quote and a move schedule that you can accept onscreen there and then and book your move with a click of a button.
At the end of the day, we just want to give you a great service and get you to Stage 4 with ease.
Once we’ve sent your quote by email, you can then move to Stage 3.
We look forward to meeting you soon.
